Ruffed Grouse Record Co. provides unique remote recording services in the Pittsburgh area. We specialize in heirloom quality voice recordings and oral histories. 

Our Team

Jozef, owner & engineer

Jozef has recorded on roofs, in barns, behind a particle collider, and in every other nook and cranny he's been able to sneak into. At Ruffed Grouse, he'll makes sure your project remains true to your vision from start to finish.

Oz, design & production

Oz is a multidisciplinary artist currently working with traditional carving and printing techniques. Oz creates one-of-a-kind cover designs for projects completed at Ruffed Grouse. Oz also designed the artwork for the GROUSE-O-PHONE mobile recording booth.
